People who purchase my pottery have started asking me about the heart shape and Amy signage I have added to the bottom of my pots.
For those of you who are curious, it's in memory of my father who passed away in 2002. For most of my life, my father used to sing the song, 'Once in Love With Amy' to me. My parents loved Ray Bolger who sang the original song.
My dad always encouraged me in all that I created and to walk to the beat of my own drummer. It is because of him that I have consistently strived to explore my intellectual curiosity, soulful inspirations, and creative leanings. This has been a foundation of my life values, accomplishments, with a priority given first and foremost to my wonderful family.
This continues to be a wonderful journey for me. The heart and my first name on the bottom of all my pots is my loving tribute to my father.
